HOME ROOFS

Residential roofing for Northwest Arkansas homes

Replacement when a repair is no longer enough, the right material for your house, and our own crew from tear-off to the last nail sweep.

Chapter 01

When a repair stops being enough

Most homeowners call us about a patch. Sometimes a patch is exactly the right answer, and we will tell you so. But there is a point where repairs are no longer sufficient: the roof is worn through its working life, hail has bruised the shingles across whole slopes, or the same leak keeps coming back after every fix.

A Project Manager comes out to your home in Springdale, Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville or wherever you are in Northwest Arkansas and photographs the roof. You get access to every photo from that assessment, and your PM goes through them with you, so you are looking at the evidence yourself instead of taking a stranger's word for it.

We do not recommend work that is not needed. Our whole company is built around telling you what the roof actually requires and treating your house like it is our own. If a repair will do, you hear that first.

Choosing asphalt shingles, metal or slate

Residential roofs here are most often asphalt shingles, metal roofing or slate, and we install all three. The right one depends on how you want the house to look, how long you plan to stay and what you want to spend. Your Project Manager lays those options side by side with you instead of steering you toward one.

Our own jobs show the range. A charcoal shingle roof with three dormers on a modern farmhouse. A hunter green metal roof on a wooded lodge-style home. Grey slate with a copper gutter on a red brick house. Each looks different because each house asked for something different.

Hail claims often come with a design conversation too. One hail-claim customer told us we offered options for designs all the way through, from price quotes to insurance claims to timelines. Picking the material is part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Chapter 03

From tear-off to the final walk

On tear-off day our own crew strips the old roof down to the decking and then checks the boards underneath. Rotted decking gets replaced before anything new goes on, because new shingles over soft wood are a promise that will not hold. Then comes new underlayment, the shingles or metal you chose, and the flashing and finish work that keeps water out at the edges.

We run our own crews rather than handing your roof to subcontractors. That is why we can say no strangers will have hands on your home. The people who tore off the old roof are the people who build the new one and clean up after it.

Cleanup is where you learn who you hired. One customer on a 43 square roof described the crew working into the night and then going through the grass and flower beds on their hands and knees, with headlamps and flashlights, picking up stray roofing nails. That nail sweep is how we finish a job. A final walk with you comes after.

Keeping the new roof in shape

A roof does not stop needing attention the day it is finished. We offer maintenance plans that cover regular inspections, cleaning and minor repairs, so small problems get caught while they are still small.

We also inspect roofs on their own terms: routine checks, post-storm checks and pre-purchase checks. If you are not sure whether your roof is a repair or a replacement, an inspection is the cheapest way to find out.

“We were surprised to learn that our roof had so much hail damage. Superior Roofing lived up the their name in every part of the process to replace our roof, from price quotes to insurance claims, timelines and offered options for designs.”
